Artist Spotlight: ADAMJK

Ugh, too real. I recently stumbled upon Adam J. Kurtz's work on Instagram and I related to his sometimes dark humor, a little too much.

Adam's art is all about honesty. He creates apparel, books, enamel pins and more. His book Pick Me Up, is sold as a self-help journal, prompting you to create your own personal pep talk, one exercise at a time.

More than anything, you’ll build your own guide now for figuring shit out later – because someone telling you to “cheer up” is infuriating, but a pep talk from yourself might just work.

Recently, Adam was featured on Grace Bonney's podcast Good Company (which I highly recommend). He was delightful, and his ability to be unabashedly honest was a breath of fresh air. You should absolutely check out this episode (and subscribe to Grace's podcast too!): Good Company

I'm really looking forward to seeing Adam at Adobe Max, it's definitely going to be the highlight of my trip!
